Requirement of innovative technologies in the dental sector have lead the AKS Group to produce dental lab materials. Pindex machine, pontics and silicon bowls are among the products that AKS Group supply to its customers. More innovative technologies are researched and special interest is paid on sinter diamond technology for strong and high quality bur production.

Pindex technologies have benefits for the dental lab employees. Use of this technology has a great importance for the sector. Seeing this, AKS Group has developed an innovative technology to the sector. A full atomized computer programmed machines has been developed by the AKS Group engineers for the market. The innovation comes from the removal of push/press technology of the previous machines. Without requiring to push or press the plaster mold, with a single press to button under the laser identified point on the plaster mold is drilled full atomized. This helps to user by preventing the mold to slip during the push or press. But the most advantage of this new machines lies on the cost where this new machine is introduced to the market with prices similar to old mechanical machines.
 

This is an innovative product introduced to the dental market. Preformed wax Pontics’ are ready formed wax patterns for modelling anterior/posterior bridges for veneer technique with acrylic or porcelain. Esthetic and ergonomic pontic sets suitable for waxing up anterior/posterior bridges. Pontica has 18 block forms plus 12 canine forms suitable for restorations in all quadrants in the oral cavity. Tooth sizes are reduced proportionally according to natural tooth morphlogy. Each pontic in the blocks can individually be modified, waxed-up or reduced. Burns without residueinthe burn-out furnace. Connectors between pontics are positioned in the lingual/palatinal aproximal area which makes application of porcelain from vestibulum easier. All pontics have collar form which makes the generation of marginal area when applying porcelain easier. Occlusal surfaces have optimum depth which enables the anatomical modelling of grooves and cusps. Anterior teeth have been adjusted according to the optimum vestibulum curvature and vertical axis. Posterior teeth have been designed according to Wilson and Spee curves. Vacuum injection system is used during the production processes. Therefore bubble problem NEVERoccurs. All wax products contain mixtures of natural and synthetic parafinic waxes and oils along with non-hazardous stabilizers and food grade contents. Kerr®wax is used in manufacturing processofall pontics and have no hazardous effect or carcinogenity.

Three different size of silicon bowls are produced by AKS Group to be used during plaster mold making in dental labs. This new kind of bowls having a removable hard plastic on the bottom of the bowl prevents the plaster to break after hardened and removed from the silicon bowl. Bowls are sold as a set or single as required by the customers.

Phantom head, jaw and teeth has a great importance in education of the dental students. Phantom head all with phantom jaw and teeth is produced by the AKS Group as a service to the dental sector. Phantom jaws and teethes are also supplied separate than the phantom head to the customers.
